Last year I was living in Japan and cycled from Hokkaido to Okinawa. The purpose of that trip was to raise funds for a forestry project in Madagascar. The proceeds of the trip got about 800 trees planted. It was an incredible journey and I got an article published by Cinelli bicycles you can read here:

This year I have been living in Taiwan as a teacher whilst learning Mandarin. I love Taiwan and am about to set off on my 環島 around the island by bicycle。I'm looking forward experiencing the Taiwanese wilderness and meeting people on the road to share stories with.
Exploring is a big part of my life. It's a real treat to visit and learn from different communities. My background is in sustainable development and community based forestry projects interest me the most.
