About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet all the people, eat all the food, get up for more sunrises (not all of them, that's crazy)

ABOUT ME

My head is an engineer and a scientist, my spirit/will is a cyclist.

During my travels I was described as:
A) "A good egg"
B) "Crazy man" (In response to cycling around Europe)
C) "48" (As in the age... was slightly offended but I think it was a complement)
D) "Just the right amount of ridiculous"

PHILOSOPHY

For the now I'm just in the pursuit of knowledge and experience.
Maybe a search for wisdom later, but for now I will take what comes, not go looking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A recent one is reaching the top of Col de Sourbeyrand in Provence, France during a cycle tour of Europe. It was a harsh climb and my first real one in France. I stood in Lavender fields gazing at the blue skies and endless mountains. A profoundly soul satisfying moment.

One of the most important would have to be getting on the plane to start my first bout of true travelling. I could have so easily not done it, and it has fundamentally shifted my life. It leaves me awestruck regulary.
