I quit my office job to head off travelling in the summer of 2011 and spent the following 18 months journeying across Latin America, from Buenos Aires to Mexico City.

Along the way I volunteered with a number of NGOs and educational institutions, including 6 months working with Angeles de Medellin, a fantastic grassroots NGO helping poor and displaced families in Medellin, Colombia. I spent the first half of 2013 travelling in Southeast Asia and taught English in East Java, Indonesia, for the next 2 years. I have recently returned home to Gibraltar.

On my travels I have met many wonderful people through Couchsurfing, in Europe, Asia and Latin America. It's a privilege to be a part of this community. I hope to be able to host in the future when I return home to Europe.

Shawshank Redemption is my favourite movie. Favourite bands are Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Manic Street Preachers. I read all kinds of books, but particularly enjoy travel books/journals.

Climbing Kilimanjaro with some friends from Uni was probably the most amazing thing I have done in my life. Flying over the Andes in a light aircraft from the Altiplano down to the Amazon basin is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Diving with Hammerhead Sharks in the Galapagos Islands on only my 6th dive was incredible too.
