A sense of humour has got me to where I am today (so far I've not caused any diplomatic incidents). I voted to remain in the EU in the big Brexit omnishambles, I can only apologise on behalf of the United Kingdom, we're not all like that.

To meet people and gain insight into a city I would never be able to research or discover in the limited time I have... that's pretty much what every single person says on here right? Seriously: above all it's about exchanging interesting conversations, meeting with people who can challenge your worldview, embrace and respect and inform and be informed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gained access to a to-be-demolished city by sneaking past a police border in China, the residents were being forcefully evicted and I took some of the last photos and videos of the place.

I can share my cooking with you. Or my knowledge of London and the many bars and restaurants you can go to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cook, and I would love to help you out in any way (be it buying ingreditents, helping with prep or even the cooking itself!)

I always carry an instant film camera with me (mostly!), so I can plaster you with photographs if you so wish. I'm happy to teach photography to anybody who cares to listen.

My left leaning socialism might not be for everyone, but I have a sense of humour so if you don't agree I can make a joke about it.
