We are Ala and Nick, living and working in Warsaw, Poland :-)

We are great food enthusiasts, love cooking and reading together, and have decided to start traveling and to do our best to meet new people any place we will go.

Couchsurfing is new to us, but we're hopeful to have great experiences in different places and to have the occasion to forge some friendships.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We would love to make the best of our experiences abroad and to experience other lifestyles.

If through the process we can have a nice time and learn about other people's favorite recipes, languages, world views, we would consider the experience a great success :D

Movies: we love The Office (US version) and can quote it often in a day
Music: we love to have special tracks for countries we visit, and in general our tastes are eclectic :)
Books: we read a lot about China and scientific subjects

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A two-days hike in Colca Canyon (Peru), one of the deepest canyons in the world - it left us exhausted but just remembering it gives us the chills!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach and Share: we can probably show off a few recipes we've worked on together :D apart from this it's always nice to help people with our native French and Polish.

Learn: Ala is passionate about genomics, Nick is learning Chinese and Japanese
