About Me

CURRENT MISSION

KEEP LOOKING, DON'T SETTLE...

ABOUT ME

I guess what really drives my interests has a lot to do with meeting people who come from unknown and exciting cultural backgrounds and have gone through a different upbringing.
It is this thrilling gap between us what makes it be so much fun and a truly learning experience.
For the most part I consider myself as open-minded, tolerant, laid-back and quite spontaneous. Always eager to find out more about the people I come across.

PHILOSOPHY

Food and sex karma are probably the foremost elements in any human body's well-being , at a phisical level. I must also advocate for a responsible drug use, which in some circumstances may enhance people's experiences in life by bestowing them with a unusual degree of insight and introspective depth.
But food for thought seems to me as equally essential. Keeping a personal balance is what brings virtue. And virtue is what turns us all into better things.
As tiny little fractions of a second in Earth's life, we need to come together and look at ourselves as something interconected, united, moving towards the future.
I guess we've lost touch with the feeling of belonging to nature and find ourselves detached from others just like we weren't the same stuff.
Let's bring love back!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be able to provide couchsurfers with accommodation as well as offer them my help and friendship. Showing people around and introducing them to the environment I live in should often be my main concern when having somebody over.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only stayed at a guy's place a few times in Spain, and so far all I can say about it is that I totally wanna keep travelling around and give it a try on a new couch somewhere else soon.
The housing part was definitely important, but it was my host's kindness and how much involved he got with me and my visit what actually made everything worthwhile.

Interests

Since one of the aims I do want to focus on is interacting with new individuals I might be able to get something cool or insightful out of, it is precisely that which revolves around alternative thinking and outlook which draws my attention the most.
I'd be happy, for instance, by either having somebody explain to me what traditional dishes are like in that person's homeland or paying attetion while my guest rants on about the controversial recent past of political affairs. I doesn't really matter as long as we both keep it real!
Let's learn from one another as much as we can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very keen on all Michael Jackson's works. Motown music has always appealed to me in general. However, I don't mind listening to any other sorts of music, especially Hip Hop, Rasusklei being my favourite Spanish rapper, ethnic music from anywhere or even classical music.
As far as books go, I'm pretty fascinated by stuff like "Cien Años de Soledad" by García Márquez, "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson, "Rant" by Chuck Palahniuk, "The World According to Garp" by John Irving, "Tiempo de Silencio" by Luis Martín Santos, "Fear and Loathing in Vegas" by Hunter S. Thompson, "Franny and Zooey" by J.D. Salinger, "Down and Out in Paris and London" by George Orwell, "The New Spaniards" by John Hooper, "The Satanic Verses" by Salman Rushdie, "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien, "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad and pretty much everything by the Spanish authors César Vidal and Antonio Escohotado, among others.
Movies like American Psycho, The Perfume, The Godfather, Trainspotting, Fear and Loathing in Vegas, Alice in Wonderland, The Fight Club, Forrest Gump, Citizen Kane, K-Pax, American Beauty, Blue Velvet, The Lord of the Rings, Mar Adentro, City of God, etc...
I also enjoy all kinds of good documentaries, with "Zeitgeist" being a good example.
