Hi! I'm Olga Shcherbyna, a 20-year-old originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. For the past two years, I've been living in Ireland due to the ongoing war in my home country. My family is still in Ukraine, but I've found a new home here in Ireland, where I'm currently a second-year student studying Nutrition & Health at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT).

In addition to my studies, I work as a freelance photographer. I'm passionate about capturing moments and telling stories through my lens, and I love connecting with people from all walks of life.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people and immersing myself in different cultures. I’m eager to explore more of France and Italy, and I believe the best way to do that is by connecting with locals and fellow travelers. For me, Couchsurfing is a great way to make new friends, share experiences, and discover places from a fresh perspective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was organizing a charity event with my friends in Ukraine to raise money for children who lost their parents due to the war. We not only raised funds but also organized fun activities for the kids, creating a day filled with joy and hope during a difficult time.
