Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think CS is a great source that helps different nationalities understand one another, see cultures from a different angle, from inside. That's important for the world's peace, isn't it?

I already have friends from about 50 countries, and it would be amazing to meet people from every country around the world!

Interests

I prefer mix of active pastime with intellectual activities. I like to ride a bicycle and learn languages, go hiking and play guitar, play table tennis and volunteer, do kayaking and write articles, volunteering and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to listen to live music and try to play musical instruments. I listen to different kinds of music, but the most important in music is when it touches me emotionally.

I prefer documentary movies, but different genres of books. My favorite ones are "Shantaram", The Crystal Horizont", "Gone with the wind", "1984" and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started to travel independetly when I was 16, and this 1-month trip to Caucasus Mountains and Elbrus Peak totally changed my life. I started to meet open-minded and kind people around. I understood that if you want to have good things in your life, you have to share good things. And in order to share goodness, you have to be reach inside!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn languages with native speakers and can teach you Russian or Ukrainian if you wish.
I have attended table tennis trainings for 10 years, so I can play with you and explain winning strategies :P
I like to cook Ukrainian dishes and I'd like to learn how to cook yours traditional food. Hope, it is not too spicy :D
I have been working as a freelancer for several years, and I might help you to find a job of your dream.
I travel a lot, but if I'm in Ukraine, I can share my accommodation with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my amazing experience of travelling to 40+ countries, organizing hiking/cycling tours in 7 countries and teaching English in Vietnam.

I can cook some Ukrainian food and souvenirs if I still have some.
