I love discovering new perspectives on the world, meeting people from different places, exploring other cultures and sharing my own one. Also, I can't imagine my life without dancing, writing, and playing the piano. I smile a lot, and I'm happy when I can make others smile, too =)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I haven't had a chance to host anyone, but I've surfed quite a lot, and I hope to do it even more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met wonderful couch-hosts in Poland, Germany, Sweden, and Belgium. Talking to each of them was a unique experience indeed, and I'm very thankful to these people, not just for letting me sleep under their roofs, but for showing me the world from totally different angles

I don't really have a favorite movie, but the movies I enjoy have to be: a) well-acted-out; b) unpredictable
As for the books, I love those which make me view things from different angles and whose language and style "taste" good.
Music? Totally depends on the mood. New age piano is my most recent obsession

Celebrating New Year on the Times Square, saving a dog, spending 7 hours in Metropolitan Museum, participating in the Orange Revolution, seeing the sunrise from an airplane

I can teach you how to say some phrases in Ukrainian or to sing Ukrainian songs. If you have a piano, I could possibly teach you something, or at least to play for you =)
As for learning, I really enjoy learning more about the people I meet. Discovering their life stories, travel experiences, worldviews - all this I find totally fascinating. Also, I LOVE languages, so each chance to improve my languages skills or to acquire some new ones is a realy treat for me.
