About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I have enjoyed hosting some amazing surfers, along with my ex-husband/roommate Fernando, and look forward to making more friends along the way
ABOUT ME
I love life, Jesus Christ, other humans, making a difference in someone's life (or at least their day), saving the planet, a sense of humor...more to come...
PHILOSOPHY
Trusting God is an adventure, not a limitation...
We limit God with the limitations in our trust.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been hosting already, because I still share an apartment with my ex-husband and best friend, Fernando (you will all know him as "Cordobazo"). Someday, however, we will be going our separate ways and I would like to have established my own connection, and reputation, with Couchsurfing.com. For now, it is easier if surfers connect with Cordobazo to request a couch...they will end up with us, and he has a lot more time to follow up with people, yet a more distinctive schedule, so it makes more sense to go through him while we live together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I may be running up on 60, but I am very young at heart and can hang-out with longevity...so I love visitors of all ages. I find them wonderful, lovely, fascinating, and inspiring and I hope they leave with something more than they arrived with as well.
Interests
This daily adventure of getting to know God, and thereby myself is pretty awesome! I am mostly into Sustainability and eating organic, but there are lots more and I can't count them!

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy movies that leave me something of value, whether that was the intention or not...beauty is the eye of the beholder and wisdom in the heart of the recipient.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have had a crippling (unrealistic) fear of heights all my life. When Fernando and I went to the Iguazu Waterfalls this year, I thought I would have to view it from a distance, because the paths are open metal grid (which freaked me out the most). I prayed a solid prayer, asking God to allow me to enjoy His creation fearlessly, and, to my own surprise, I took those first steps of faith and kept going! I leaned over the edge and leaned on the railing without a thought! It was awesome to do, but even much more awesome that I COULD! That was a total miracle! P.S. I can now do things I could never do before, still!
