Hi, my name is Olzhas. I am 29 years old and I am doing a master in Gothenburg University, Sweden.
I keen on travel and most of my adult life I spent abroad: lived for 6 years in China, and now studying in Sweden.
I am interested in Street Workout, Swimming, Football, Brazilian Jiu jitsu, Healthy food, Photography.
I am curious about everything and open to any interesting information as well as sharing my experience with everyone.
I think that there are no boring people, but rather bad listeners. I have no experience in Couchsurfing, but I truly inspired by millions of stories of the travellers who made their journeys and didn't regret it.
As I spent a lot of time in China, I can speak about Chinese culture and lifestyle. I am from Kazakhstan (yes, I know Borat), but I rather feel as a global citizen and can't say that I belong to one or another region.
At this moment, I am studying in Sweden and welcome everyone to this cold, but beautiful country!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think as many CS members, we all want to meet interesting people and explore the world. So, I am exactly that kind of person. I strongly associate myself with the idea that we should collect moments not things.

I am really curious about everything: history, culture, domestic customs, traditions of the visiting country.

It is a chance to be a global citizen and share with others your experience, culture of your country and etc.

Music: All kind of music! I can listen everything
Films: Godfather 1-2, all DiCaprio movies, Lord of the Rings, The hobbit, Star Wars and many many other staff.
I prefer classic books such as Bulgakov "The Master and Margarita", T. Dreiser "The Financier", historical books about Napoleon, Churchill, Genghis khan and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer, I took my car, my friends and we made a trip to Baikal lake (the deepest and cleanest lake int the world). We also explore other parts of Russian Federation and totally made a 10 000 km trip with full of adventures and positive moments.

Next one I am planning to visit Iceland and Norway and in long-term perspective to make a moto-trip in South Europe.
