classical music and pop :D Sometimes I enjoy listening to indie, too. love to watch historical movies, comedies, or dramas. sometimes when i’m stressed and my brain cannot function whatsoever, i put up the stupidest teen show on netflix and have the time of my life. my favourite movies are Shakespeare in love, les miserables, and 12 years a slave. also im a book worm, russian classics are my favorite. my favorite books are war and peace, the bluest eye, and pity from wit.

When I did an exchange year in the US (I was 16), I performed the Star Spangled Banner in front of 50 people to get out of my comfort zone, even though I can’t sing at all :)
One time I spent a night and actually slept at the Waikiki beach because I missed my bus home

can teach you kazakh and russian. love talking about my country, its culture and history because everyone’s so clueless about it and i feel like i’m serving the holy duty of enlightening foreigners about my motherland. I’d love to learn more about your country, language, culture, how to cook national dishes and dance! I can share everything I know with you :)
