I am a 38 year old father of one amazing 15 year old boy, a small business owner (really just me), a student pilot and the best friend you would ever have. I can be a little reserved at first but once I warm to you I'm lots of fun, or so I've been told. I've worked as a public school teacher, store clerk, file clerk, clerical officer, call centre agent, help desk operator, tech support, medical alert installer, security guard and even worked a couple summers on the back of a truck doing freighting and deliveries. I've learned to get along with pretty much everyone. This varied experience has also taught me that everyone has a story worth listening to.
Children tend to like me, even the really standoffish ones that will not go near most people. Probably because I can be a big kid myself.
I'm trying to get out more and see the world hence my joining this site. I am hoping to make friends from all over the world so feel free to send me a message or ask me anything.

I think it will provide a more authentic experience and more fully immerse me in the country I go to. I'd like to make new friends and have new experiences. To be quite honest it will offer me access to places where I might not be able to afford to go.

I listen to pretty much everything, old dub, some reggae, hip hop, r&b but there's and alternative song for every mood under the sun.

Books: Anything by Anne Rice or John Grisham, Dean Koontz, Simon R Green J.R.R Tolkein. I will also read anything I lay my hand my hands on if I have the time.

Marvel Movies > DC Movies though I will watch both. Dramas, Comedies. Some Documentaries. Anything with a good story.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

"Reinvented" myself at the age of 27. Left my job as a public school teacher (taught from the age of 18) and worked night security 6-7 nights a week. At the same time did community college full-time 5 days a week and spent evenings and my off day with my son. I am now the IT Coordinator at a private school which puts me in charge of all technology at the school.

Update: Not as life changing but... I FLEW A PLANE! Currently working on my private pilot's license. Doing ground school currently so not a lot of actual flying yet. Undecided on whether this will be a career change or hobby.

My technical expertise, I basically fix computers and "teach" I.T. for a living. I make a mean macaroni pie. Also bake a nice crustless cheese cake. My oreo cheesecake has also gotten rave reviews.
