Hi, My name is Omar, from Perú. I´m a newly graduated doctor; currently I´m working in a hospital in Lima, doing my specialty in Anesthesiology.

English, is not my mother tongue, but, I have no problems with speaking and writing it (maybe little mistakes jeje).

Very apart from my professional life, I´m a cool Peruvian guy, who loves to travel, meet amazing people, discover new cultures, taste new flavours around the world. I had the great opportunity to travel to Asia and Europe a few years ago. When I was 5 years old I travel to Japan with my mother because in that time almost all my family lived there and I stayed for a year, but , unfortunately I don´t remember too much about that fascinating country.

In 2018, I applied for a working and travel visa to New Zealand and I got it :) I was shocked and I really enjoyed that experience for about 1 year. I could know amazing places and people I will never forget.

About my hobbies, I love the beach, and I swim very well(I learned it when I was a child and I trainned for about 7 years). I like to learn other languages, I studied a little of french and portuguese , they are really interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m here because I want to meet other people who are as passionate about traveling and new adventures as I am. I love travelling to places I have never been before.
