ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and traveling the world. In my travels so far I've hit Europe(lived in Spain, raised in the UK, loads of family in Ireland), the U.S. and am now living in South East Asia. While I'm hear I want to use this opportunity to springboard to as many weird and wonderful places as possible. I always find travels are the best people to chat to because they are usually easy going and full of tales of the unexpected so I want to meet and get tips from as many as possible. Im not athletic or super cultural but I do like music festivals, the odd museum and heritage trail, anything in water and soaking up the culture of a new community.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. On my travels I have met some people who dont get involved in the world at all, they shield themselves away and pretend that there is nothing out there that concerns them. I have also met people who thing that everything is their personal business and these are the people who usually spend all their time complaining. I like to live, to enjoy what I'm doing and where I'm going and let live. Just have fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a spare room with a double bed that anyone can crash in. The room has a fan and a double wardrobe. My apartment has a hot shower and two toilets (one porcelain one drop down) and a small kitchen. Its not the best location for sight seers but its 15 mins from the airport so great if you have a morning flight and don't want pay for a room in town. I can pick up and drop off from the airport if I'm free so just ask.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. Im really looking forward to meeting new people, both hosting and couch surfing.

Chilling out on a beach, wandering through a new city, radio, karaoke, nights out, swimming, cinema and film, geeky tv shows like stargate and glee, enjoying life.

I like most kinds of music including R n'B, Hip Hop, Rock, Trance, Garage, Indie (thats a favorite), Jazz and Country (please dont judge me). But I have the worst memory on record so can never remember names of artists or songs :S My favorite book is "The catcher in the Rye" but im currently reading the "True Blood" books. As far as movies goes I love them. The cinema is one of my most loved things to do so even the bad films are usually ok. I love "Watchmen" and "V for Vendetta", "The notebook", "Armageddon", "Saving Private Ryan" and, well you get the idea.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The Ankor Wat Temples in Siem Riep were mind blowing. The cluster of temples takes about a whole day to see them properly, and that's if you start it off with sunrise over Ankor Wat. The ruins feel like they vibrate with the past, its a wonderful experience and a great view, you can see why they filmed part of Tomb Raider there.

My skills are pretty limited, I can cook a mean spaghetti bol but I don't know how many people that will impress :) I can drive and I love to drive, I would be happy to take someone out for a quick spin and give them some pointers if they fancy a lesson. I would love to learn to play an instrument, any instrument. Also, Im trying to learn to say "Thankyou" in as many languages as possible so that would be a great help.
