Hello,

I'm a super friendly, easy going, international musician and artist born in Israel and currently living in Brooklyn. I spend my time teaching art to kids, making art of my own, and making music with my band Cookie Tongue. I'm looking for people who would be willing to host me and my girlfriend Jacquelyn as we tour Europe as Cookie Tongue.

As musicians, we offer to play you a free intimate Cookie Tongue show OR if you'd be willing to do a house show that would be even better! For house shows we try to do pass-the-hat donation for guests who come so we get some gas and food money to continue our tour.
Our setup is super easy. We can play completely acoustic or we can amplify with our battery amp-either way it'll be a great show!
So far we've filled half of our tour dates in Europe. We still have open dates Aug.2-4, 8,9,11,13

Cookie Tongue is a theatrical expectation-defying freak folk music duo from Brooklyn originally conceived by Israeli born artist and musician Omer Gal in 2011 in San Francisco and is now joined by multi-instrumentalist and ritual artist/dancer Jacquelyn Marie Shannon. Over the years the band’s iterations have rotated between solo to six members. Cookie Tongue “transcends expectations for a musical performance” with incantatory songs brought further to life in performance with theatre, puppetry, dance, poetry, costume and animation. "Cookie Tongue is not of this realm. Current music trends have paved over their world. Cookie Tongue reaches out, grabs a hand and pulls us to hear."

Music I love many genres but mainly Freak Folk like Coco Rosie, Devandra Banhart, Timbre Timbre, Chad Van Gaalen and lots more unknown bands, some of which are friends who we play with like Little Teeth, Seth Faergolzia, Pinc Louds and more:)

Favorite Movies are definitely Alejandro Jodorovski Holy Mountain, El Topo. I've been so inspired by the poetic mystical symbolic qualities of his films. I also love animation, since I make animation myself you can see some of my short films that have been on festivals around the world on my website: Omergal.com
My favorite animators are Shvankmejer, The Brothers Quay, Allison Schulnik and lots more in the experimental story telling field of the medium.

Books are definitely Murakami books all of them! I love the Magic realism. I also love The story of the eye by George Bataille
