About Me

ABOUT ME

We met when we studied art in high school, and have been together ever since. It's been ten years, and we're still immature.
Rayut cooks (and has a strong tendency toward Persian cuisine), and Omer is in charge of dish washing.
We love cats, but we can't keep pets in the apartment because it's rented. Yet we fantasize about the two cats we will adopt one day. In the meantime we adopt hairy friends:)

We would be more than happy to adopt you! (Hairiness is not mandatory)

Interests

We are both interested in art and films, but Rayut is also interested in literature and Shakespearean plays. Omer is the more technically oriented.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Dogma, Requiem for a Dream, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Romeo+Juliet (Baz Luhrmann version), Home Alone 3 (no, not seriously).
Music: You probably won't recognize anything we might list here, so why don't you just come over and listen?
Books: The Kite Runner, Someone to Run With (a great book by David Grossman. Has been translated into English), Written on the Body, Fury.
Graphic novels & comic books: Y the Last Man, Strangers in Paradise, Fables, Mouse.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have renovated the apartment we live in. It used to be a wreck (with pieces of wall missing and wooden boards sticking out from every corner) but now it's really homey. We even put up prints of paintings by Mucha on the walls. It feels great to take something in the worst shape ever and see it evolve into something great and know that you did it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Italy, Spain, United States
