About Me
CURRENT MISSION
apparently, science says that traveling and exploring different environments and cultures is one of the things proven to make someone happy, so who am I to argue? :)
me and my boyfriend share the same passion for low budget travel :P and we have been told to be awesome guests by our friends, as we have a lot of interests, we are considerate and not messy, and always carry hilarious true stories. But we won't brag about it, we will let you see that for yourselves.
ABOUT ME
not really into self-descriptions, but, if i were to choose a few trademarks of mine , i should pick: sociable, un-fussy, unpretentious, easy-going, curious (but not nosy), friendly (but not over-friendly), rather enthusiastic about everything concerning art, theatre, film, street-art, festivals. Love music. Love food. Love endless talks. Love meeting new people. Love doing all of the above.
PHILOSOPHY
less is more. but sometimes, the more, the merrier
and of course, sharing is caring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
*** Update: After a number of years of not being active on couchsurfing, I've picked up travelling again and also this time the flat i'm sharing with flatmates is big enough and comfortable to start hosting again occasionally :)
When hosting, I keep my own lifestyle no matter who crashes our couch, however, when me and my boyfriend travel, we comply to house rules (including no smoking, no animal products if the host is vegetarian/vegan, house rest hours etc.)
more hosted than couch-crashed. a few years' break and back in business.

Music, Movies, and Books
too long a list to do, so i'll just mention possible favourites for each :
films: "Spirited Away" by Hayao Miyazaki, "The Cabinet of Dr Caligari" by Robert Wiene, "Loves Of a Blonde"& "Firemen' s Ball","Rocky Horror Picture Show", most Kubrick, Kurosawa and Truffaut. i'm a major film buff.
books: "The Clown" - Heinrich Boll, "Old Masters" - Thomas Bernhardt, "God of Small Things" - Arundhati Roy
music: most music suits me, with a personal penchant for cabaret music, indie, rock, psychedelic, trip-hop
Teach, Learn, Share
i'm still gathering experience for the time being. when i'll be zen enough to share my meager experience, be sure i will.
What I Can Share with Hosts
- two sofas in the common space/lounge area, complete with bedsheets, pillows and blankets. If you re lucky enough, you might get an extra mattress, too, if one of my flatmates is away.
- feel free to use any electronic equipment around, provided we discuss about it. some basic kitchen products are shared too.
- IMPORTANT! the house is a proud owner of two cats, or rather, the cats are proud owners of the entire house, so if you have cat allergies, tough luck.
- smoke-friendly house, don't expect to change my habits for you, as much as I like you, but the house is really well ventilated, so that should not be a problem.
