About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See what the world has to offer me and take any opportunity to go further!
ABOUT ME
I'm a student from San Francisco State University. I am currently working on my BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on Elementary Education Teacher Prep. aka I want to work in primary schools.
I am quite the busy bee, I enjoy sports, being outdoors, train in Capoeira, play guitar, go out with friends, draw, paint, write poetry, very interested in sustainability.
I love animals and have 3 pets back home two dogs and one cat.
PHILOSOPHY
Personally I believe that you should treat others with respect, you cannot have life without suffering, the unexamined life is not worth living, love your enemies as yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I have hosted friends that I met through my time studying abroad in Sweden. I made lifelong friends and am happy to help give people an enjoyable experience here in the SF Bay Area.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have not offically surfed via couchsurfer just yet I do hope that will change with my upcoming travels through Europe this summer.
Interests
Working with children is a real passion of mine. I am currently studying to become a primary school teacher in the USA, I have worked with children ages 4.5-12 mainly. How I spend my time aside from school and work which are both children centered is go out with friends, exercise, running is usually my form of meditation if not its when I take part in sports or physical activities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It may seem silly but when I arrived in Sweden, to Växjö specifically, what amazed me was all the designated walking and bike paths available away from the main roads. Coming from the US and from a very car dependent area, it was/is amazing to me to see such a bike friendly city. I live in a suburban area of California where there are only 2 or 3 buses, one commuter train, but most people drive because its easier and most destinations are not easily accessible via bike or public transit.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you ever need a game or activity for school age children I can help you out with several ideas. If you come surf my couch I can teach you how to cook Salvadorean food (yummers), speaking of cooking I really love learning new dishes, or tips any cooking advice or tips are always appreciated.
