ABOUT ME

I'm Owen, and I'm just graduating from McGill university in music and business. I play the sax, and I'm from Minneapolis Minnesota.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel the need to challenge myself everyday to become the best man that I can be. It is important in life to evolve, experience and take in new things as they come.

I like this quote: “This is why we shouldn’t be afraid. There are two possibilities: One is that there’s more to life than the physical life, that our souls “will find an even higher place to dwell” when this life is over. If that’s true, there’s no reason to fear failure or death. The other possibility is that this life is all there is. And if that’s true, then we have to really live it - we have to take it for everything it has and “die enormous” instead of “living dormant,” as I said way back on “Can I Live.” Either way, fear is a waste of time.”

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was living in Madrid, I was playing my saxophone in the streets, and some girls let me stay at their place. I met a bunch of awesome people, had some fantastic spanish food, and made some new friends that I talk to up to this day.

Intereses

I love music, the outdoors, martial arts, exploring, dancing, rock climbing, new cultures, snowboarding, biking, skydiving, performing, doing stand up comedy, cooking, and working with my hands. I love to challenge myself any way I can, and I always look forward to meeting new people.

I rode my bicycle from Canada down to south Florida. On my adventure I raised money for kids to get bicycles through the boys and girls club.
