About Me
Hi, I'm Omri and I'm 25 years old from Israel. I was born and raised in a small town called Yavne. After moving to the southern city of Be'er Sheva, I joined the Dror-Israel Movement (Zionist-socialist adults movement). I lived in a commune for 5 years and volunteered as a youth counselor in different Kibbutzim in Southern Israel. Currently living in Jerusalem and study history and politics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and to hike around the world and I prefer to meet the local community and deferent people. I would also like to host people from all around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I like just about anything. Such as David Bowie, Radiohead, Fiona Apple, Paul Simon, just to name a few. I'm traveling around with my mp3, in case you would like to listen to some Israeli music.
Books - I read a lot. I love Kurt Vonnegut and George Orwell books. The last book I really enjoyed reading was "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Ernest Hemingway.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2 weeks cycling on the Wild Atlantic Way of Ireland. Fun fun fun!
Teach, Learn, Share
Things I can teach: Hebrew, puppets making, playing a recorder or guitar and one-handed clapping.
I can also teach you how to cook Shakshouka and Couscous (Israeli-Arabic food).
