ABOUT ME
Just graduated university in Texas, now doing a masters in public health ( Social Epidemiology) in London before heading back to the states for medical school. I know often times people dislike being defined by what they do, but I feel like my career track aspirations (/ life to do list) sums me up pretty well, and now, in semi chronoligical and overlapping order: doctor+ hospital director+ world traveler+ think tank researcher+ bakery owner+ pilates instructor+ organic farmer+film director+ investigative journalist+ entrepreneur+ hostel owner may as well be time traveler as well to get it all done....
PHILOSOPHY
the happiest people are those who live each day filled with wonder, who can transcend their thoughts to see the beauty that is life...

"If you really want to understand the Tarahumara, you should have been there when this ninety-five-year-old man came hiking twenty-five miles over the mountain. Know why he could do it? Because no one every told him he couldnât. No one ever told him he oughta be off dying somewhere in an old age home. You live up to your own expectations."
-Born to Run ( on the Tarahumara super runners from Mexico's Copper Canyon)
"...few people will appreciate the music if I just show them the notes. Most of us need to listen to the music to understand how beautiful it is. But often that's how we present statistics; we just show the notes we don't play the music."
