ABOUT ME

I am friendly guy who likes to meet pleasant people. I think my significant properties are kindness, modesty and a little bit laziness. :-) I think I also know how to make fun sometimes. I grew up in smaller city in Czech republic called Pardubice. I was a student of social work and when I got the degree two years ago I found a job in governmental institution as a social worker. During my studies I went to two exchange study programs in Taiwan and in Lithuania. It gave me a lot of experience and after this, travelling became to be my passion. I felt in love with Taiwan and its people and since I came back home from there I always have wanted to come back. On May 2016 I decided to quit my job and explore more southeast Asia. Then, I came back to Taiwan and have been working and studying here since 2017.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I registered on couchsurfing mainly because I love to meet new people and share different kinds of experience. The another reason might be I have limited budget for my travelling, so I would like to cut a little bit my expenses for travelling and do not always spend money in hostels.

Interests

listening the music (mainly reggae, ska, rock and alternative music), playing football, swimming, studying social issues, travelling by hitch-hiking, going to concerts and music festivals, meeting with my friends in pub, reading books and news (especially those independent ones), watching movies and so on.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many kinds of genres of movies, but I prefer to watch drama or documentary movies. I like to listen to reggae music, rock music or alternative music. I used to read books more before than nowadays, but I really like historical novels especially books written by John Steinbeck or Mika Waltari. I already mentioned above music which I like. My favourite singers are for example Bob Marley or Lucky Dube and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchike journey from Scotland where I have been for summer job back to Czech republic which lasted 10 days. It was a real adventure and me and my friend even didnt buy a tent where we could have slept :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about culture and lifestyle of countries where I have lived. I also can provide some information about my major which I studied. I would like to lear more about different cultures and woupd like to improve my knowledge about internet marketing.
