Hi, my name is Ondrej and I live in Prague, Czech Republic, the most beautiful city I have seen (so far!). My girlfriend Terka and I are beginning to explore the world together and we decided that couchsurfing is the best way to do that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that meeting locals when visiting new places is the best part of the whole experience. And couchsurfing is the easiest way to make the first connection with the local life :)

Interests

I work in telecommunications and IT. I love using new gadgets and finding new ways to make the most out of my time.

I'm a sports person. I've been swimming my whole life and I never miss an opportunity to jump into a pool of water - whether it is a cold mountain lake, a nice swimming pool or a hot spring.

Recently, I fell in love with crossfit. It's just amazing exploring all the things our bodies are capable of!

My favorite band right now is Moderat, a german trio of DJs.

My favorite movies are Goog Will Hunting, Interstellar, Pulp Fiction and American Beauty.

My favorite book is Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. I really liked the Song of Ice and Fire books. I'm currently reading Antifragile: Things That Gain From Disorder by Nassim Taleb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived and studied in San Francisco for 5 months. I met lots of people from the whole world, some of them became my good friends. I've backpacked the Sierras, visited the Yosemite, bowed to the giant Sequoias.
