PHILOSOPHY

I don't think I've ever been very good at maintaining a general personal philosophy. Currently, I'm trying to learn to not worry about things that aren't going to matter much in a few years and trust that things will work out in the end.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to utilize couchsurfing often in the future. I haven't traveled too much yet and I hope to change that. when I'm hoping to get a fair amount of traveling done. I haven't been hosting much recently since I've been living with a lot of roommates who aren't necessarily all comfortable with couchsurfing, but I've hosted in the past and really enjoyed the experience. I look forward to trying to be a great host again in the future. Until then, I'd be happy help travelers in whatever way that I can, where ever I happen to be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a few times myself, but only once through the website. But my one experience was a great one and I was amazed by the generosity and openness of our host. I learned a lot in just one night, and not just about the place we were staying.
In that past, my friends and I would often host travelers who were coming through our town and I enjoyed sharing laughs and conversation with these people, or even just providing a place to stay when schedules didn't allow for too much hanging out. It felt good to help out and I'm happy to know the favors will be returned next time I'm out traveling.
