About Me

ABOUT ME

I love music, Punk is my favorite, but pretty much any type of rock, acoustic or folk as well is greatly appreciated. I am currently in 2 punk bands, one folk band, and am constantly engaged in a singer/songwriter project. I am studying sociology and social work in school. I refrain from any sort of drugs or alcohol and believe in this very strongly, and I am also a vegetarian.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in some of the purist ways that I feel possible. I maintain a clean and unaltered lifestyle in order to keep myself accessible and natural. I am striving toward true happiness all of the time. I treat everyone with respect, I believe very heavily in the golden rule, treat others the way you would like to be treated. I feel as though everything we have done in our lives determines who we are and where we are now. I welcome challenge and hardship because I believe that makes us stronger.

Interests

I am interested in music, meeting people, building friendships, eating, cooking, reading, philosophy, and logic.

Music, Movies, and Books

Punk music, mostly what is called pop punk: Screeching Weasel, Jetty Boys, The Queers, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Leftovers, THe Dopamines, and most importantly, The Ramones. There is so much more though, I appreciate most types of punk though. I also really enjoy much alternative and indie rock. I like books about philosophies and struggles, also things with important meanings. I like sad movies, that goes with music too. I also love the Toy Story movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have gone skydiving twice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was hit by a car when I was seven years old while I was riding my bike. I was diagnosed with severe brain damage, I had to live in the hospital for two months, I couldn't talk for a while, and I had to relearn how to walk. Some things are still challenging for me, like everyday tasks, but I try my hardest. I pride my self in my knowledge and my abilities to think critically.
