I am a United States Peace Corps Volunteer serving in Albania.

ABOUT ME

I love life, and I hope I never take a day for granted. I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida until I was 11 years old at which time I moved to Milledgeville, GA. Here I attended middle school and high school. I went to a two year junior college to play collegiate soccer in Douglas, GA. I then attended the University of Georgia for fours years and received my B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I have worked for about three years in the audio/visual industry as an A/V technician. I am currently a full time Health Educator/volunteer living in Albania. I love my family and friends and they are definitely my highest priority in life.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone has a good idea that needs to be heard. I love ideas that are inclusive and collectively driven. Respecting other societies and cultures can allow people to work towards a more peaceful society. There are many ways to force beliefs and ideas, but it is through our honest and unbiased work that we can be the most influential.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host a few guest at a time. If it is not on the weekends, we will need to talk about it ahead of time since I normally work M-F.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just recently joined so I have limited experience. I have been hosted and have hosted only a few time.

Interests

I love music in every aspect especially live music. I love to dance. I love swing dancing especially lindy-hop, but I also like to ballroom, latin, and free-style(club). I like to have the occasional beer or glass of wine. I enjoy outdoor activities and anything in the water. In the past my activities/hobbies included soccer, playing the guitar, sailing, working on my car, and dancing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been skydiving and want to become certified. It was the most liberating and exciting activity that I have ever experienced. I would love to eventually learn how to use a wing suit and fly through the mountainous valleys.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned quite a bit of ballroom, latin, and swing dancing over the years, and I would be more than willing to pass on the skills to a willing party. I can teach beginner's guitar lessons. I am also an avid soccer player with a lot of coaching experience.

I am up to learning just about anything. If you have a skill that I can benefit from, I would be very grateful for your teachings. I would love to learn more primitive skills.

I always enjoy sharing good times and long conversations over food and drink.
