About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Do a Kerouac/Thelma and Louise road-trip... without the law-breaking and death

ABOUT ME

Hey I'm Kieran and I don't like slugs. Considering a slug is unlikely to have a couch, I think I'm good on here.

I'm a student at Leeds University, studying English and Sociology, and I've just finished my Study Abroad year in Canada, so i'm looking ahead to fantastic adventures in Mexico and the United States.

I'm both pretty passionate and quite easy going, i'm adaptable and love to chat with new people. I'm interested in lots of subjects, like language and politics (i'm quite liberal but always willing to hear new perspectives) and love a good debate if it's the right situation. I guess i'm pretty geeky but, i'd like to think, in a down-to-earth, good sorta way!

I love clubbing and dancing, so anyone who knows good places to go - or even better, is just good company on a night out - is somebody i will get on with!

PHILOSOPHY

If life is short, take as many detours as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently travelling across the USA, a trip i've planned for almost 4 years now, so no couch to speak of, but next year i'll definitely be offering up our couch to visitors to the UK.

I really thrive off of meeting new people and bonding with people in fun new ways. I'm a very loyal friend.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still an official couchsurfing novice!

Interests

Books are really important to me, as are my favourite movies and tv shows. I write intermittently, and I usually like to keep afloat of current affairs. I'm into comic books and graphic novels - it's literature too! I've definitely gotten an interest in seeing new places and experiencing differing cultures.
