About Me

I am living in Istanbul during the winter. During summer I live on an Aegean Island. I used to travel a lot . Still I dream about going to places which I've never been before. However since 3 years I have to look after my older sister, who is disabled. So I had to postpone my plans.

I love arts, music, winemaking.
After retirement I attended glass -marble-mosaic making and, paper marbling classes.
I am chorist, singing at the alumni club of my university since 10 years.
And I am an amateur wine maker. I have small wineyard . I grow cabarnet and merlot type grapes.

I used to love taking photographs, but recently, seeing everybody taking millons of photos with mobile phones and sharing as if its a pieac of art, I quitted. !

So at hhe moment this much I can say. In the coming days or weeks I can add some more to this profile

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why I am here ? Because I think going around a city just as a tourist, you dont feel the culture, the people.

My best experience was during my traineeship in Budapest when I was a student.
Later I visited my German friends livin in München and Augsburg.
I was a member of Hospitality club. I also had the cahnce to host some people and also be a guest in Copenhagen and Berlin.
