About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get my head out of the future and truly appreciate the present

ABOUT ME

With a background in journalism, my various spur-of-the-moment travels are usually complimented with the odd stint of work, which seems to suit me just fine.

PHILOSOPHY

"All that we are is the result of what we have thought."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to get together with the local Couchsurfing group when at home and am always happy to show fellow Couchsurfers around when they're in Montreal to visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My time surfing in Europe was nothing short of fantastic, I met so many people in so many countries who contributed hugely to the value of my travel experiences. CouchSurfing literally gives new meaning to the old saying: "A stranger is just a friend you've never met."
I think I'm always blown away by the hospitality and generosity of all you brilliant hosts out there and I can't wait until I get my own place so I can return the favour.

Interests

Travelling ranks pretty high on the list, but when I'm not on the road I tend to enjoy reading anything legible, listening to music, attempting to learn Japanese, swimming, having great conversations and planning the next adventure.
