About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To not die while I'm living in China. Mission status? Tentatively successful.
ABOUT ME
I'm a great cook, tidy, funny and delightful conversationalist. Perfect guest! Nah, I'm not that funny.
I'm a 27 year old Australian. I've been living in China for the past 3 years and am on the way home to Melbourne. I'm an idiot who adopted a puppy in China (long story that I will tell you if you host me, heheh). So my pup will be with me while I'm travelling back. He's fully housetrained, does a few tricks, is the most laid back sleepy head ever and is super adorable.
I am pretty much exactly like my dog.
Except I will not lick your feet.
I'm pretty relaxed about accommodation and traveling with a pup I am just grateful if anyone takes us in. I've slept in some *rough* places, so anything with a level floor and shelter is greatly appreciated!
I've travelled a lot and would love to swap stories. I'm fit, love to cook, enjoy reading and lots of walking.
PHILOSOPHY
Be the change you want to see in the world.
Also, with great power comes great responsibility.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been hosting surfers while I was living in Xiamen, China. Met some great friends through this site too.
I'm travelling now so hoping I've stored up enough karma to find a place to stay myself.
Interests
Hmmm.... anything that doesn't involve shopping.
I usually spend my time doing any of the following;
Hiking, swimming, surfing, wakeboarding, diving, reading, physics, chemistry, materials engineering, eating, food chemistry, making things that go bang, politics, cultural development, genetics, philosophy, economics, sociology, meteorology, geology, science fiction anything, movies, discussing movies, mountain biking, theology, martial arts, exploring, trying to learn Chinese and trying not to panic.

Teach, Learn, Share
Polymer chemistry and materials science are my formal areas of expertise.
But most people's eyes glaze over that, so I'd rather just share my travel stories and hear from you too.
I was a swimming coach for 8 years so I could probably teach you to swim if there's a chance.
