About Me

ABOUT ME

Hello everyone! To describe myself, I can begin to say that I'm a person who has always liked traveling. I have visited a lot of different countries, and now for a few months, I have also discovered the great experience to live abroad. Denmark is wonderful ; )

PHILOSOPHY

"Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better." [Samuel Beckett]

"Always look on the bright side of life.[whistle]" ; ) [the Monty python]

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've never received somebody in my house yet (which is in fact my parents' house) but I surfed on a few couchs in Copenhagen this year, and I have to say that I have met amazing people. I wish I will be able to host travelers myself in a near futur!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The hosts I had in Copenhagen were more than hosts, they helped me to find a place to live (who knows where I would be now without their help^^)

Interests

One of my principal interest for few years is the Medieval European Martial Arts. It mixes up physical conditioning, fun and history in the best way we can imagine! Longsword, wrestling, dagger, one hand sword and shield, and so one, are things we practice.

Music, Movies, and Books

Concerning music, my heart is a metal heart (Amon Amarth, Manegarm, Windir, Enslaved, Dimmu Borgir, Rainbow, Kreator, to cite a few of my favorites), I also like traditional music above all with back-pipe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I spent the two more magical weeks of my life in Iceland in 2011. This is a magical (I know I am reapeating myself, but truly, I can t find a better word) country full of legends, old gods, and... strange experiences! For instance, have you ever seen a unicorn? I did, and the truth is that they aren t horses...they are sheep!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give some French courses with pleasure, the Swiss way of course ; ). I'm also able to give an introduction to medieval fighting with a longsword if someone is interested = )
Oh and of course, I am never traveling whitout Swiss chocolate, and it tastes always better when shared with international sweets lovers!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, China, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Maldives, Norway, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
