ABOUT ME

Astrologically I am an Aries/Tiger, and am still unsure whether I act out those roles because I know the meanings (according to astro-gurus) or I act the way I do because that is my birth rite...Nature vs. Nurture??? Who knows, but it's fun to think about; it's a bit silly...and I would like to think I am sooo much more than what the signs represent.

Recently I had a good friend use three words to describe me (FYI-I gave her thirty seconds and sprung the question on her) and after thinking long and deeply this is what she came up with:

Loyal
Loving
Survivor

My response was that I sounded like a perfect mix to be a gangster!

I would say I ramble on a lot, and go on obscure tangents, verbally, in writing, and in practice, and have varied interests that span from literature and classical music to street life and general vagrancy...I try to smile as much as possible and make friends everywhere I go...I open doors for people and help those in need cross the street.

I am a loving daddy to two wonderful children (3.5yrs & 15yrs) and my little one is with me most of the time. I care a lot more about the meaning and nature of things/people/processes than the outcomes and really make an effort to get through the fluff to find the core...That doesn't mean I don't like silliness and being goofy, I certainly do, and often at the front of the line when it comes to being a dork and having a laugh at myself...

Did I mention I ramble on at times??? I guess to sum up, to know me is to love me or at least respect me as I will respect you...

Yay!

PHILOSOPHY

Find and follow your true nature, and balance doing what is good for ones self with what is 'good' for ones community...and be a sarcastic smart-ass when appropriate...

I am knew here, although I have been around a long time...so I haven't built up my cache of surfers, but I am excited to get this going, so come over and stay awhile...

I haven't hosted or stayed anywhere yet (8/22/11) and just filled out this profile, so hopefully I can get started...so come over...

Oh, I am interested in just about everything...I ride bikes, dance, camp, explore, love, get outside and experience the world as much as possible...I am having a love affair with fun socks...etc etc...I like to eat yummy food, and find joy in plucking fruits and veggies from the garden or plucking them from the local farmer at the weekly market...its fun...
