ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 year old fresh-faced spunky young lady. I like shoestring budget trips, impromptu dance parties, urban exploration, cooking, playing dress up, balancing fun reading with more serious intellectual pursuits, drinking cheap beer and making the rounds at the local shows. I'm a writer and an artist who surrounds herself with fellow creative types, as well as the odd practical sciencey mathy sort. I'm a firm believer in having fun and enjoying whatever life offers you; it's an ill wind that blows no good.
I hate writing descriptions of myself, but I suppose it's necessary; I wouldn't want to fly blind into living with someone either.

Creating a country-western pop cover band with my roomate., playing MarioKart on the N-64, regularly risking life, limb, and trepassing charges climbing on billboards and construction sites.

Books: John Steinbeck, D.H. Lawrence, Oscar Wilde
Music; My Bloody Valentine, Jenny Lewis, Cat Power, David Bowie, The Roots, MSTRKRFT, Sonic Youth. I like electronica and house, pre-80's country and western, ambient, shoe-gazer, pop, hip-hop, most anything except for modern pop country, emo or any of emo's derivatives, and anything that could be compared to Dave Matthews Band. And I don't like Radiohead. Sorry.
