ABOUT ME

I am an artist and explorer first and foremost. I like to paint, sketch, visit art galleries, make leather jewelry and write (portfolio: rdsegura.com. I am also a bookworm, an athlete, a biology nerd, an adventurer, a mystic philosopher and always joking and laughing. I grew up in Ohio out in the great midwestern corn ocean, but am also a Costa Rican citizen. I have lived, worked and studied all over the USA, Central Ameirca, the Caribbean Canada and Switzerland. I have a BA in Regenerative Community (a major I created to fuse sustainable architecture and agriculture) and now I am on my way to Barcelona for my Masters in City Resilience Design and Management. I love connecting to people and sharing stories.

To connect to travelers and to be part of an international community. The Couch Surfing community allows me to feel at home all over the world as the members often share my sense of open minded adventure. I moved to Fort Lauderdale some years ago for work and connected to the CS community which made me feel instantly at home. That experience is what I seek with CS.
