BBC World Service

I did my best.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By talking too much. As well being a good listener.
By being plain and simple. And complicated at the same time.
By being an silly. But also coming up with good ideas.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with the most nice and interesting people in France and Germany.
Staying with local people provides a context far beyond that which I can read on wikipedia/wikitravel or the variety of country statistics that I know.
I am looking forward to exploring different parts of Europe.
Interests
I like paradoxes and non-sequiturs.
I enjoy learning languages and telling jokes.
Figuring out how the world works. I like to have my mind boggled.
I like talking about sociology, social-psychology, economics, cars, finance. Of all these topics, I am especially interested in its practical application to life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like the Jason Bourne series, because he travels all over Europe. There's something appealing about being an international super-spy with no identity.
Das Leben der Anderen,
Rilo Kiley, Mirah, Wir Sind Helden, Karpatenhund.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have driven on the Nürburgring in Germany!
I have also confused Nürburg with Nürnberg (Nuremberg).
I have met some amazing people who have all taught me many things.
I am looking forward to driving on some Swiss mountain roads.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share a lot of different ideas on a lot of different things.
I read Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers and I think I'd prefer to spend 2000 hours on five different things than 10,000 hours to be the best at one thing.
Actually, I probably spend five hours on 2000 different things.
