About Me

I started travelling and living abroad when I was 18 and I joined Work and Travel in New Orleans, USA. After that experience, I instantly knew living abroad, seeing new cultures and travelling have become my passion. Currently I am based in Vilnius. I get to spend a couple of months in new countries every year as I am working fully remotely. It is quite good as I have a constant urge to explore, create something new, get out of my comfort zone and especially, get to know new people. That is why Couchsurfing is more than cheap travels, but a way to explore not just a city, a whole different life. It is also helpful that there are many beautiful souls on this platform to learn from.

I consider myself to be quite friendly and outgoing person, like most Couchsurfers would describe themselves. I am quite active as I like to keep myself busy and rarely say no to a plan.

You can talk to me literally about anything. We all have so much to learn from each other!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of meeting with people from all over the world and building a huge community. I want to be a part of this ideal. Moreover, this app/website has been one of the most constant things in my life, as I have been moving around by myself a few times. Actually, I could say, some of the best days I spent was due to friends I met on here.

Interests

I like theatres, both watching and playing in it, playing guitar and saxophone, travelling, reading books i, especially on history, sociology and etc, watching movies, jogging and more. In general, I am open to anything to trying new things to improve myself, as much as I am capable of. (Being capable is an important point here because for example; I would love to sing, but I wouldn't do that to anybody around me.)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen most of the songs. I like rock, jazz, classical music and blues. I also like playing them with saxophone or guitar. I really don't know what to list here. But to be honest, I got a bit lazy in terms of discovering new music and films for the last year. So I would be so happy, if you could help me change that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Maybe, fully participating in a Peace march for 450 kilometers between capital Ankara and Istanbul can be counted. It took a long time and tiring, but those feelings and all was amazing.
- Leaving home at the age of 18 trying to create something that I can be proud of.
- Backpack my way from Spain to Turkey through Southern Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can basically offer my companionship. I can listen, tell and be friend of yours. Oh, moreover, I can prepare a proper rakı table for you (A traditional Turkish/Greek eating and drinking night with music, emotions, dance and etc.)
