About Me

I'm a friendly, easygoing but a little lazy guy. I'm a doctor and unfortunately I have 10 -12 nightshifts per month. I try to enjoy my free time as much as I can but they are not too much. I live with my wife in a house with great view :-) I like travelling, meeting people from other cultures, religions, points of view. I believe everyone has a special story. I prefer spending money on collecting memories instead of items with high labels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting with new people but in our daily routine it's quite difficult to find new people. With couchsurfing, you can meet new people from anywhere in the world with different thoughts and meeting with new people makes me rethink my points of view. And apart from meeting new people, I am also a backpacker, there have been times in abroad finding myself broke, so I know the value of finding a place to sleep not in exchange of money but in exchange of good conversation.

Interests

I like cooking, trying new dishes. Also I like history, it makes me understand a place, its people, its characteristics much better, either in Turkey or abroad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Celebrating New Year in Napoli and witnessing fireworks being sent from every square of the city when clock hits 00:00 am.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Turkish if you want, but I'm a much better teacher of Turkish cuisine. We can prepare some food together. I'd be really happy if our guests prepare something special from their region, could be a coctail, a souce, pasta, anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have two beds in a room and if you are more crowded one or two more guests can sleep on the sofa in the living room. Apart from accommodation it is an obligatory for us to eat together in our house:) We really would like to share a table with our guests. It creates a friendly atmosphere so that we can talk more easily, know each other better and have fun better.
In the summer we can go to the seaside together :)
