I want to travel, travel, TRAVEL! I would love to meet new people who are excited to share their towns and favorite memories there with me!

ABOUT ME

I've just finished university and am looking forward to real life (except for the bills and taxes part). I love to learn and teach what I know, travel and experience those places both on and off the beaten path, and eat good food. I love to cook, as well as loving to eat, and I love to cook for other people. There is no gift as great as sharing what I have, whether it be a couch, a meal, a beer, a dance, or a chat!
I live in the Chicago suburbs but will be teaching in Tarbes, France for the next year, and hope to be doing tons of traveling about Europe during that time!

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem, live for the day. I live without regret and believe wholeheartedly that good comes from everything, including those painful decisions. I must be strong for myself, and confident about the life I'm leading, that it will lead to good for myself and those around me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only begun to participate by sending a few messages, joining the Oktoberfest 2009 group, and searching some profiles, but I hope to have a few real-life encounters with other surfers soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to couchsurf but met a couchsurfer about a year ago. He came to stay at a friend's place on his cross-country Harley trip, from Paris, and I began to think, "what a great way to save on travel AND meet some fabulous locals!"
