ABOUT ME

I think the glass is usually half full. I enjoy meeting new people, especially those who are entirely different from me. The best part about traveling for me is trying to get some understanding of the language spoken in the country, and trying the local dishes.

I think the world is getting more and more distrustful as it is. Couchsurfing helps to maintain the culture of trust among people, because we are actually a lot more generous and hospitable than most people assume.

兴趣

Currently learning to play the guitar and to speak Spanish and Russian. I enjoy a good read (i.e. Milan Kundera, Arundhati Roy). Always struggling to learn all the different tree species in my local area. I try to contribute to my society by joining little initiatives.
