ABOUT ME

I'm a Leo, and I'm funny. I love to dance. I'm a yoga teacher. I'm the girl who willingly goes camping, but takes a portable hair dryer...although I never end up using it. I can hula hoop decently and I get endless joy from engaging in long conversations on interesting topics with people who are not idiots. Apples and peanut butter is one of my favorite snacks. I am not afraid of anything except cannibals. Traveling is something I do a lot of. I live where I want. Currently, I'm living in a love/hate relationship with Morocco. Mostly love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people whenever I can and wherever I'm living. Sometimes we like each other, sometimes we don't. Sometimes we talk about travel, we go shopping, we might play dominoes for hours or kiss passionately on the beach, or sometimes we cook a delicious meal and eat every crumb without speaking a word to each other. Once, me and another couchsurfer had a beautiful relationship and lived together for 4 years. I guess participation is a relative thing that changes from personality to personality. I make no guarantees on participation.

Interests

The easier question might be "What am I not interested in?" and that answer would be anything boring.

I am also interested in carpets, yoga, delicious salads, good music, mezcal, beaches, pottery, and having conversations with weird old people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are all great, you should watch them. If you have already seen them, we can talk about how great they are. All of the music I listen to is also great. Chances are, we could turn on a classic rock station and I would know every lyric to every song for at least a few hours without getting anything wrong. But I also listen to a lot of indie music, hip hop, afrobeat, cumbia, and I'm currently writing weekly posts about music from North Africa. I don't ever want to listen to heavy metal, Metallica, or anything else that sounds like shit.

Books: Shantaram; anything Winnie the Pooh and anything by Tom Robbins, Khalil Gibran, or Cormac Maccarthy

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you at least 10 different ways to chop an onion. I can play the maracas, I can macrame, and I can make a pipe out of an apple. I would be happy to teach you any of these things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories, skills, jokes, and I always travel with chewing gum, aspirin, and chapstick in my purse - I can share some of that too.
