ABOUT ME

i just arrived to earth, and i'm observing nature and appreciating the different scents of all its delicious flowers, so much to see and feel!

i often find myself in possibly esoteric discussions about reality, universes, time. it keeps me in the moment.

i want to explore my creative side this season, and make art and music that stills bodies and minds.

PHILOSOPHY

all knowledge lies within.

i see the universe and me in every twinkle in every eye. it's love, bliss, god, the is, whatever you want to call it. as time passes, i feel the space around me furiously expanding, space in which to swim and fly around, new worlds to travel, limited only by my imagination.

there is no death i know. the mind determines whether it and the body undergo transformation, and it ultimately decides the rules that define reality in its conscious world. "death" has no place in my universe's lexicon; however, i enjoy shedding old skin every moment.

one way to define my love is the active willingness to look into your eyes through our lenses of perception until i catch myself gazing into my own eyes---until i find that the heart of your essence and that of mine are indistinguishable, inseparable. our skins meet here in this moment where our hearts patiently wait to be stripped of their garments so that they may meet and transform, as two heavy drops of rain that land and merge on a sloped windowpane.

i go from here to there to learn about plant medicine, to talk to people about dreams and visions, to make people less fearful and more trusting of this world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i am meeting bright beautiful creatures traveling up and down the west coast, getting a tour inside others' strange new worlds.

anything that breaks boundaries and expresses what i feel better than i can. that which offers my body and mind a moment to be still, followed by a rushing drive to move. animal collective, portishead, bjork, donnie darko, run lola run, marcus aurelius.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

once i found myself at the tip of the mountain of all past and future time, as though out of time, standing before a thing of indescribable beauty. i found that i'd been in that place infinitely many times before in the past and in the future. after i climbed down the mountain, i found that the source of that undefined beauty manifests itself wherever i'm willing to see it---in everything if i so choose. the mountaintop is deep within the moment.

in may 2008 i found myself on a caravan that went into new orleans to offer aid, and a number of us experienced something quite magical. most all of the volunteers felt something yanking at their hearts to join a service caravan on a day's notice. there were moments on the bus that felt as if our egos were stripped to allow a force to take over our motor skills and the caravan itself. i was a part of something loving and invincible. a group stayed behind in new orleans, and they're organizing some truly amazing projects.

Teach, Learn, Share

i know some spanish, cosmology, raw vegan recipes, simple sattvic cooking, yoga, meditation, qigong, fermenting, kombucha, baking, processing a dead animal, and using food to make you feel better.

i'd like to learn more about creating visuals and sounds in music that uses binaural beats or otherwise induces delta and theta brain waves.
