About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live now, experience the moment

ABOUT ME

My heart beats a black rhythm, my yellow brain is a product of Asia, my soul is red like the skin of the native people of amerika, ... where the rest of me came from- I dont't know...
One half of me is musician, the other...hmm... very mixed up?
I think, you can learn a lot about me if you read what I'm interested in, the books I read, the music I hear...
even if this is just a small selection.
Generally I would describe myself as a romantic guy who loves fantastic candlelight dinners with good music and interesting conversation, I'm more interested in quality than quantity. Ah, and I love it calm and quiet, -exceptions proves the rule ;-) (african music and all music influenced by africa makes my legs dancing).
Mainstream is s.th. for the other sheeps - I always did it my way in my live, didn't care what other people think about me - there is something anarchistic in my soul, but not the mainstream-punk-do-what-you-like-to-do-way. If I try s.th.new, I know that all of my moves and decisions interfere with all and everything and I'm responsible for what will happen.
You see, -I'm a freak, but nowadays my dreadlocks growing inside my head and I don't have to show them to everybody ;-)
One of my favourite dreams is to stay for a longer time in a buddhistic monastery, perhaps becoming a monk... crazy? YES.
I think this is the result of my wild years, I already tried a lot of things and I like to reach the golden middle, where everything is in balance. We'll see ;-)
Some more questions? ...just ask...

PS.: one more thing about me: I love to laugh, - it's nearly as good as sex, I think.
PPS: sometimes I still talk to much.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything is connected with everything, so I TRY(!) to live with the responsibility that every single move I do, causes s.th. else.
...and YES, I make mistakes ;-) and it's (mostly) no problem to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm really glad about beeing member of couchsurfing because I got to know a lot of people around the world I woudn't have met without this project.
As far as my experience goes it works best, if surfer and host fit together more or less perfectly. This means for me, that I really read a lot of profiles, before I write a request, -and I only write to someone I really like to meet. The other way round I had the best experiences with surfers who wanted to get to know me - sometimes it was like meeting old friends, or soulsisters/brothers...
I never had bad experiences with other couchsurfers, and I think that projects like this will help to develop more peace on earth - because we come closer in reality, not only virtual. Active couchsurfing means a practice of open mindedness, selflessness and compassion to me and I try hard to be a CS-member with the right spirit. I already met several members with the same spirit, and it was always great fun everytime I met one of you, sisters and brothers!

Interests

music (...making&hearing), art, books, films, theatre, good food & wines, real contact, buddhism, environmental protection, new ways to live together, non orthodox relationships, human development, psychology, the beautification of our world, laughing, philosophy, tech-stuff (like nearly all men do ;-), nature, fotografy, ... I'm really curious.

Hmm, -and I can show you how to sit down and do nothing (ok, nearly nothing - don't forget to breathe!) for a while... (= shikantaza (japan.))
