About Me
Hi there!
My name is Opal, and I live in Darwin, Australia. It is very tropical over here, with the average temperature being 35 degrees and oh so humid!!
I'm a queer woman in my 20s, and am studying to become a primary school teacher.
I am currently travelling around Israel and Europe so I can meet and re-connect with my extended family. As such, I cannot offer to host surfers at the moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe meeting locals is the best way to travel. When I meet backpackers in Australia, I try to help where possible, whether it is giving them a lift, helping them find the best beach in town or a place to stay.
I would love to get to know some people from the area or even get some tips of places to go or things to do, rather than falling into the tourist trap.
