I try to live a spontaneous life, not filled with expectations. I'm living more in the moment every day and absolutely love it.

PHILOSOPHY

Why do I live the life I live? People don't ask themselves this enough. Sometimes we can get so caught up in society's expectations of us that our individuality and the passions that fuel us can become lost. It’s so important to frequently ask yourself what do YOU want out of life. Embrace it fully and make it happen, no matter how many doubts society can slide into your head. LOVE THE LIFE YOU LIVE!

Couchsurfing has provided me so many wonderful opportunities of meeting such generous, inspiring and kind hearted people. What a cool thing bringing people together by simply sharing time, conversation, advice and love amongst strangers across the globe, helping us only realize we're not even strangers at all!

兴趣

Camping, hiking, simply being outside, road trips, deep meaningful constructive conversations, drawing, painting, cooking, traveling, space, adventures, live music, snowboarding, good beer, good times...I'm always up for anything new!

...Some of my favorite books would be- High Fidelity, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Candy, Into the Wild, 1984, Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee
....Movies- I need some good suggestions since I'm not a big movie person. Return to Oz is brilliant.
...Music- this is a bit more challenging to narrow down. I love some trip hop, house, old school hip hop, classical, instrumentals, electronic, bluegrass, rock, alternative, reggae, old classics. LIVE music, and if you have passion in it and I can feel it, I can dig it.

I was ten years old and my dad woke my brother and me up in the middle of the night and drove us to the top of the Blue Ridge Parkway outside of Asheville, NC. We laid out our sleeping bags and looked up to find the most incredible meteor shower. We were at the peak of the mountain so the star lit sky stretched to each shoulder. The meteor shower was so intense that the entire sky lit up as if it were daylight. Thousands of stars shot across the sky simultaneously.
