ABOUT ME

we are rachel and joel, both 24. back from a massive year long excursion abroad, and then 14 countries later: a beautiful voyage across the states enjoying our chosen families and their enormous hospitality. it's great to have a bed again for the first time in almost 2 years! we love our new spot, the pacific gleams through our bedroom window. working on an organic farm, pursuing many interests, and always making time for good music with good friends...even when implausible distance is involved :)

we enjoy music, silliness, all things outside, passionate conversations, wine and beer, delicious vegetarian food, dancing all night, extraordinary sights, smiling, sleeping and relaxing, sunshine and basking in it, museums, photography, alternative medicine, crystals and other natural wonders, and of course we love meeting new people. It is important to gain perspective through others opinions. we are determined to provide proof of conscious loving americans to the rest of the world!

hmmm. music, modern classics like bob marley, bob dylan, pink floyd, grateful dead, beatles, led zep, jimi, talking heads, paul simon, motown, radiohead, joni mitchell, jazz and then lots of craziness...the awesomeness of aesop rock, bjork, les claypool, and a million others...we love electronica bands, DJ's especially dubstep, drum and bass, house, soul, funk, dubtron, specifically sphongle, ana sia, bassnectar, ltj bukem, karsh kale, rjd2, groove armada, disrupt, bill laswell, pendulum, prefuse 73, squarepusher. ALWAYS looking for new music to widen our horizons!

Joel makes silver wire wrapped jewelry using gemstones. we know way too much about crystals and we carry some with us (kinda crazy, we understand). we can help people understand what the states are really like. we love sharing random tidbits of info...nutrition, yoga, music, and of course epic experiences.
