ABOUT ME

This September, I am starting a year abroad. I plan to start in Iceland and work my way over to Japan! Looking for different perspectives and new ways of thinking/living. I love to meet new people and hope to make life long friends. Currently, I am wrapping up a job in the finance industry, and need to balance that our with exciting new experiences!

I am passionate about photography and music...there is not much you won't find me listening too!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It is my hope to host when I return from my travels. After experiencing a year abroad, I believe I will be better suited to host world travelers!

I want to meet people, not just the party types that I will most likely find in the Hostels! I want to see how lives are lived in other cultures, not just as a tourist!

兴趣

Photography, traveling, music, meeting new people, coffee. I really enjoy having a real conversation with someone I haven't met before. I feel like today's social sites and texting have distanced people from each other..I'm a real advocate of the coffee shop style interactions, meeting someone and discussing life over a delightful beverage is the way to go!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Skydiving out over the Hanapepe Bay in Kauai, Hawaii! This experience was by far one of the most amazing time in my life. Although it was short lived, I don't see a day when I will forget the intense rush I got as I looked over one of the most magnificent views I have ever seen!

I hope to learn as much as possible, and as I learn teach and share that knowledge with others. I'm not certain what my experiences fully have to offer, but I am interested in teaching from them!

I will be focusing on cultural similarities and differences as I travel, I hope we can enlighten each other!

I make great coffee, give some solid advice, but mostly, I share new ideas. I want to learn how we are similar and how we are different. I'm annoyed that this world isn't more peaceful, I believe traveling individuals can help change that!
