About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm thinking about cycling across the country in Summer, So I am trying to find out what couch surfing is all about.

ABOUT ME

I'm a UC Berkeley student in my last year of studying physics here. I like to bike, hike and fly kites. Every now and then I enjoy a good party but I'm usually a little quieter.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in that every human is essentially good on some kind of level, even if that is hard to see. This belief has been much reinforced on my bicycle travels from Berkeley to Portland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have moved all of my things into storage and left Berkeley on my bicycle and am touring the western United States. I am hoping to making some surfing experiences soon. Hopefully I will have a place that will permit me to host people from around the world, once I get back to the San Francisco bay area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to couchsurfing.org, however I've had a few similar experiences before. Most recently, when I visited Finland last winter I stayed at some of my brothers friends in Helsinki who took me and my friend in without ever having met us. I thought that was great, and so I decided I wanted to give back and meet more awesome people.

Interests

People from around the world. Science and good food. Taking walks at the beach. Relaxing with a good book or rocking out to an awesome show.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking from Austria to Sweden and back. I met so many great people and made so many invaluable experiences that trip.
