I adore Couchsurfing. The idea. The practice. THE PEOPLE. I have met soulmates through the simple but beautiful process of couchsurfing and I wouldn't be 'me' without it.

About me in Brooklyn:
I moved to Brooklyn just in time for a New Year's Eve on the Williamsburg waterfront, overlooking the bright lights of NYC. I came here to get to know this unique city while I'm young and to have a thrilling urban backdrop to the quite solitary 'writing-up' phase of my PhD. I love wandering the city by myself or with my fella Stu (we rock at 'weekending'), and I'm likely to be found in the Lower East Side, the East and West Villages, Greenwich, and Williamsburg drinking chai and working my way around laptop-friendly cafes :-)

I'm very, very up for trying things the city has to offer, be it art and cultural events, comedy, dancing, parks (I love being outdoors!) and most especially FOOD. New York is my culinary heaven. Simple.

About me in London:
I adore London and when I don't have cash to travel its no hardship to wander the Southbank (my favourite walk in the world!)...I love my studies and reading the Guardian, having thoughts and arguments flying around in my head that then come out over a glass of red with my lovely friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a big believer in Karma..what goes around...I try to live my life based on that and treat people with the same respect I'd like to be treated.

And quite simply, I SMILE. a lot. and I find thats a pretty successful philosophy that keeps me and those around me happy.

London can be overwhelming so I'm here for people to chill out with, and enjoy the city on a more local/laid back level.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing since I was a baby...there's nothing better than staying with family, friends, friends of friends, neighbours of inlaws etc...and seeing the other side of a place.
