ABOUT ME

The journey of life is all about self discovery and finding ways to express your passions. My current passion is travel and I'm so happy to be living it. I grew up in Tucson Arizona. I love the desert. I'm perfectly happy going for a stroll in a new city and getting lost. I think I'm pretty funny. After living in Italy my Italian is pretty good but I want to learn more. I love to cook. One of my favourite couch surfing experiences was in Florence when I cooked a feast for my hosts and their friends. I can be very spontaneous. I decided one morning while i was in Iceland to rent a car and drive through a snow storm just so I could see a sunrise on a black sand beach.

PHILOSOPHY

This above all to thine own self be true. Basically anything Yoda ever said I try to do that. Love and peace. Use less plastic.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had good and bad experiences. I have no problems couch surfing with men but I only want friendship. No dating, no flirting, no romance. I makes me very uncomfortable.

Finding joyful people, going to the movies, learning new cooking skills, living out of a backpack, discovering ones own internal philosophy, going to see concerts.

I will go see any band no questions asked.Any type of classical music. I love the operas of Puccini, Mozart, Verdi, and Donizetti.I am not a classical music snob though. I love to rock out, hip hop out, indie out, whatever. I love love love going to the movies. I like to go by myself and just escape reality for a short while. The Movie theater is my happy place. I enjoy writing more than reading. I've always got a lot running through my mind and it helps to organize my thoughts.

I get to see amazing sunsets almost everyday. Arizona Sunsets are spectacular.

I once snorkeled with a sea turtle.

I attended a traditional bridal sauna during a Finnish wedding I went to. It was interesting to say the least.

I learned how to Scuba Dive in the Red Sea

I love to share my thoughts with others about art. I'm not one for science but I really like to have engineers and ecologists and even mechanics explain things to me like I'm 5.
I can teach you how to drive, how to command and audience, how to sing better, how to make fresh pasta, how to house train a dog, basic music theory, how to do an excellent Wookie call, the proper way to cut an onion, how to tune a cello, where babies come from......
